My day job has been busy and my farm has been exciting. But we got our Christmas present – a Huion Tablet for kglearning. I’ve wanted something like this since I had a tiny little wacom tablet for a few weeks when I was in the training department at H&R Block.

We saw it at the Hutchinson Public Library Makerspace, and the moment I saw the Husband working with it, I knew we needed to get one. It’s going to be shared between the company, the farm, and both of us at our workplaces. The Husband will be teaching online courses and this will be perfect. It came on Friday.

We’ve been working with it and trying new things. One of the tasks I have is to give some tax training at my job. Right now I’m using this as a big useful monitor, but I’m also going to be able to annotate my training and draw scenarios to help the learners.

I’m sure it will change a dozen times before training begins (note: the content is already created, I’ll just need to chop it into the appropriate parts).

I’ve got to come up with more activities, because when I went through this training I was going nuts by day two. More on that next.
